Smile Hello from Colorado Springs
I recently signed up for this forum and currently I drive a 1997 Ranger Xlt 2.3 liter 5spd Flareside(160,000 miles). No pictures yet but will post soon. Anyone who gets the chance to read this, I have a question. What is the best way to go about installing HIDs and also anyone know of a good place to get a turbo kit? I am aware though that Mustang SVOs and Thunderbird Turbo Coupe have same block just different internals and injectors not sure what else but any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Welcome. No one makes a turbo kit, but go here:
turborangerforums.com

they have lots of info. Basically taking the turbo parts off a 2.3t found in turbocoupes and svo mustangs.

Side note: Strange question for you: Have you seen the remains of Tesla's lab in Colorado Springs??? (He is my fav electrical engineer slash experimenter so i had to ask)

Thanks for the info DangerRanger, and no i have not yet seen the remains of Tesla's lab..was unaware of that, I'll look into it.

welcome to FRF, danger is right anything you need to know about turbo rangers go to TRF my screen name on there is michaelconklin, danger is in the process of turboing his ranger and as you can see mine already is and i love it, as for the HIDs ddmtunning.com has awesome hids for under 100 shipped thats where i got mine they go by the bulb that is used in the vehicle simple plug and play
