Thumbs up Hiya New UK DoubleCab 2.5td :-) Fresh Meat!!

Just found this place, hope to get lots of information, been doing searches already, just wanted to say hi to you lot and ask you my first question!!!
My car is a 2006 Ford Ranger 2.5 Diesel Wildtrak and has 20,000 miles on the clock what is the US equivalent?

I know some years are different on different models and cars in Europe and The US, if i can find the right equivalent then I'm laughing in regards to finding out information on here!

Amazing site, love it already!!

Am putting on some big tires soon, 31.10.5.15 from what i can tell so far these should fit no problems

Thanks mate, glad to finally find a site I can use to get info!!!
I hate having the back on the truck, but I kinda need it at the moment with this
weather we have here in the UK!

Am torn at the moment as to what to do with the truck,
want bigger tires (as we all do) but can't decide if I will need a lift or not!

not sure if the 31.10.5.15's will look to small I'm after the kumho MT KL71's
I think the 32's would set it off nice but don't really want to spend lots of money
on expensive lifts.
I've done a bit of research on eBay and there seems to be 40mm body spacers, or shock
spacers not sure which would be best?
Also confused as to what a leveling kit is? people keep using these terms lol
I need to figure them out!!

:-)

just get a body lift, i guess you referred to them as a body spacer. cheapest way to go about lifting your truck

Welcome

to answer your question there is no equivalent. The US does not offer a diesel or a true 4 door ranger

Hey Scooby Stew!, I'm in Hampshire mate, good to see a Uk owner I can now pester lol

What you done to yours? any good links for raising it up ?
is raising the body a pain in the ass? might be easier to pop spacers into the shocks.

McPink, I'll try and get some more pics for u, any spesfic angle or pic you after mate?
Sounds like a porn shoot lol

I'm in gloucestershire, your ranger looks good with the top on though, the stainless twin bars were a bit useless to me so I fitted this aluminium load cover, its watertight.

You not fancy meatier rubber on those wheels?
I want a bullbar small lift and 31's this year.
I had the side windows tinted a month ago to go with the back ones
so it looks much better now too

That's what I was gonna ask, where is the rear tow eye?? I don't have a tow bar and needed to pull a car last week and realised I couldn't bloody font it!!
it's gotta be under there someplace?
If not I'm gonna gave to get one welded onto the chassis?

I'm getting the windows tinted and the door pillars blacked soon, I'm pretty sure 31's will fit without a lift from what i've read on an australian ranger forum so some 31x10.50 bfg's is the next thing. Have you still got the blaupunkt digital radio? I been trying to get a lead to connect my ipod but its impossible.
