Default Hello from the PNW

Hello everyone,
Thanks for having me on board. I have a 93 Splash that my dad purchased new. Both of my sons learned to drive on it. It has 350,000 miles on it and is still going strong. It has the 3.0 with auto trans. Most of the miles are highway. I drive it as my shop truck now. I started manufacturing a new hot rod part this last year and put one on the Splash to take to shows. It's a viewable thermostat housing so you can see the thermostat actually work while the engine is running. I will do a write-up with pictures so you can see what I did. Here are a couple pictures of the truck.

Welcome, also what is in the second picture. It looks like something for the cooling system but I am not sure. Looks cool regardless.

Yes, you're right. It's a Cool-View viewable thermostat that I manufacture and sell. It allows you to see the thermostat in your engine while it is running. You can actually see how far open or closed the thermostat is. You can check it out on my website WWW.coolviewthermostat.com
Also I just submitted a How to on how I put it on my truck. When it's posted I'll let you know.

That's pretty sweet, does being "out" of the block like that affect when it opens/closes?

Disregard that question, I went to the site and looked around.
