Dude from central Alabama
I just bought my first truck about two months ago, saved my money for awhile for it. I wanted a truck no matter what, but needed good mpg. So I ended up with a little 2001 ranger 2.5 5 spf lol. It had 196,000 miles and body was in pretty good shape, minor cosmetic problems. I worked the guy down from $3000 to $2300. I'm now working on touching up some scratches and getting a new rear bumper out of the junk yard. So far the truck hasn't surprised me with any nasty and costly problems, just minor stuff like replacing an o2 sensor and soudering up some wires. Never been a big ford fan, but this truck is beginning to change my mind. Im Trying to get it fixed up before I start driving it in a month all the time to work and summer work outs for football.That's about it, and this forum seems pretty cool so far.
