Ah...yea you just have an open 7.5 w/ 3.73. Don't think I ever saw an EDGE with a 7.5...hmm

so what are you think Justin it will be a good option to change the whole axle better than just add L/S locker to it

For sure, if you can get an explorer axle. they are 8.8, you can find them with 4.10 l/s and disc brakes, and you get 31 spline count over the 28 in the ranger 8.8 (unless you get the level II 8.8, IIRC)

I concur. Not only will you get the L/S you're after, but you'll have a beefier axle and disc brakes. An all around upgrade.
