Just got a chance to re-visit the site - MA !
Sorry but I have been a member for a short time and didn’t get a chance to post here in the intro forum.
I am old, live in the New England and like FORD, the Ranger Truck and almost anything that goes fast and/or has a big engine.
I drive an 03 Ranger EDGE purchased last year with 25K Miles is E-4 Bright Red and looks and drives like new.
I worked in Quality Assurance Engineering for a long time and have seen so much shit going on in manufacturing of our GOOD USA Products that it is scary.
I have built and driven a 12 second, 289 CI Stang, a 5.0L ’88 Ranger STX 4x4 and just about everything in between, all Fords of course.
I am a member of four other Ranger Forum, all frequented by almost the same people but it is good to see the camaraderie in the Ranger Vehicles.
My plans are to install a SL Lift Kit with Coil-Over Fox Shocks, new Rear leafs to replace all of the BLOCKs and Struts to support the lowered section of the front end.
KM2 - 286x75x16 with Slotted aluminum wheels will be on the truck after the lift.
There is an OHC in place but not wired because I have chg’d it some, removed the electronics and added switches and a remote HAM Radio Face Plate.
There are aluminum knobs on the HVAC/Headlight Sw/4x4 Sw all with red inserts for indicators.
the dash Faces are being changed over to red character and the HVAC is next.
My CB will be install after I find a good set of leather bucket seats or a good set of cloth seats with short center console.
OK that is a lot for now, there is a longer list of Want-to’s but they will wait.
A work in progress, yes !
ltr, good to be here.

A few pics but there isn’t much completed.
The beginning, 25K Miles:
Where it is today, to cold to do too much: Still thinking on bumpers.
The Billet Knobs for the HVAC/4x4 Sw/Headlight Sw:
OHC before install, Six switches instead of electronics and the rear compartment will hold a Remote Head Unit for a HAM Radio:
My LED Map Light Module, built for more directional lighting instead of a flood effect:

The bed change is the one things I had to do, love it and get a lot of comments about the short bed/steppie.
The lift is pending a couple more pieces (struts to support the dropped section), then up in the air, just 4”s or so and 285x75 tires and away we go.

The Knobs on the HVAC, the 4x4 SW and the Headlight Sw are all the same from Stage3, I got them with green indicators because they were on sale.
I changed the green to RED and had to mod two of the knobs because the headlights sw has a different alignment and the 4x4 sw not only has a different alignment but the knob needed to be cut a little to fit BUT it all worked out, now for the RED gauges.

Re: Just got a chance to re-visit the site !
Update:
The lift is in, Coil-Overs are on the front, Km2 are on and waiting on Bumpers; hopefully have these under control.
The KM2 look great but ride like $hit! Working on the tire pressure at this time.
The OHC is in but not working, YET !
The Radio now has RED LED for everything except the Frequency read out.
Working on LEDs for the Knob indicators.
The Gauge Face is in the RED Character one, waiting for strip LEDs to install.
Lighting idea from Black Cat Custom Gauges, not the Plug-in just the strip on the OD of the ID…
The Bumpers, front and rear, I am talking to a guy now just waiting to hear from him.
