Just joining the forum and would love the help confirming a few things with some people before I finalize a deal on an '09 fx4 I've got lined up!

It had light overall damage and will be sold with a rebuilt title. Now I know there's always some risk there and it takes the value down a lot but that's also why I've been able to work out a good sounding deal.

The guy I'll be buying it off of has a collision shop so that's why he picked it up to fix (guess he drove it around even with the damage so it was at least driveable).

Now my main questions if anyone wouldn't mind helping out...?:

He has it labeled as a 2009 FX4 Offroad but I want to confirm what options came with it. I'm going back to look at it again tomorrow (and likely finalize the deal) so I want to be sure of some things. What are all the specs I should be expecting on the top model fx4? Some things I've confirmed and seen it has already, but some not so I would appreciate any help:

-16" wheels with I believe 31" tires
-rwd to 4wd on the fly
-auto-locking hubs
-center mechanical differential
-leather interior (on this one)
-tow hooks in front, hitch on back
-power windows/doors/mirrors
-sat radio, audio input

Are these the options that make it a "level II" or is that label even still used for the 2009 model?:
-4.10 ratio
-Torsen LSD or is it Ford LSD? ..with what axles..?
-skid plates (3 of them?)
-Rancho shocks?

Any help/confirmation before I go back tomorrow would be greatly appreciated! (and of course I'll post pictures asap as long as the deal goes through as planned!)

Sounds like a level II to me. But i forgot which year they stopped making level II's

If he said it came with Ranchos, the 4.10 axle and the 3 skids its most likely a level II. You should tell by the sticker on the bed.

It should have an r7 tag on the door which would be the torsen l/s , 4.10 and 31 spline axles

There were no level 2's in Canada (anyway) after 06. The 07 and up trucks just came with all the previous level 2 stuff. Rancho's, skid plates, l/s ..etc

Personally I don't touch anything with accident history.... what type of accident was the truck in?

Thanks for the replies guys. I decided to go for the deal, pending some inspections so I gave the guy a deposit. I'm taking off on vacation though for a week so i'll be picking it up (hopefully everything's good) when I get back and I'll fill everyone in on the rest of details then!
