Oregon, new to rangers
So I'm considering buying a 2010 or 2011 ranger sport 4wd. I have heard that the FX4 models are bad to take in water due to breather vents on the diff. Is this a good year for the ranger and do they make grill guards and bull bars. How reliable are the new ones and how much of a lift can you do? 2 1/4?
---------- I was also curious as to the push button on the fly 4wd? how reliable is it and does it run in a true 4wd or...

The breather vent on the diff is the same for all rangers. If it is not tampered with there should be no problem unless you go into water that reaches the bottom of the bed. 2 1/4 lift never even heard of that amount of lift. 3" bodylift $200.oo or you would have to do a suspension lift which is 1000+

2011 Ford Ranger XLT Extended Cab/Oxford White/2.3DOHC/power windows,locks,cruise control, Satellite and MP3, 5-speed manual, tinted windows, leather wrapped steering wheel, Ford over-the-rail bed liner, custom seat covers. I think this is supposed to be a fleet truck, but now its just my truck.
