Unhappy Introductions!

Hi there!

I recently had my first (minor) accident in my 2001 Ranger (had it for a few years now). So it's not a happy day.

But I am glad to see a vibrant community about that I can pester for advice. My Ranger has been entirely trouble-free the time I've had it (third owner, about 25k miles so far) and I'm hoping to stay that way.

Welcome to FRF!

And I am assuming he has only put 25k on it since he owned it and he stated he is the 3rd owner...

You most likely are correct. there is no way in 8 years that 3 different owners can average only 260 miles a month. Thats only 65 miles a week, or around 9 miles a day.

Unhappy 25k

Huh. Wonder why I didn't see any replies until now. Go fig.

In any case, machine090767 is quite correct. I've put about 25k on my Ranger and it's at 115k total. Did my own paint-in bedliner (that came out OK. Not great, but OK) and a $220 toolbox from Autozone. Plus a nice little Clarion stereo with Bluetooth (love using that to make calls). And one of these stickers (which are teh awesum, BTW). Just need to get her fixed now. *sigh*

Looks like I'll be seeing which of the truck collision specialists in/around Santa Clara have some time to have a look at my lightly bent axle (?) this coming week. Ho ho ho. :-(
