hey there
Just picked up a 99 3.0 xlt sport regular cab with a 5 speed. This poor thing is in rough shape, but it will get me by and be something to tinker with in the meantime.

Forgot to add, I have a few questions, the truck didn't come with a manual and I'd like to give it a tune up. I searched a little, but didn't find much.
What tranny fluid do you all recommend using, and how much does it take? Same with oil? What is the spark plug gap supposed to be for the 3.0? What brand do you all use? How do I find out if I have LSD? FYI, its only 2wd. Any links on an air locker kit that will work for me? Or info on what spline I have? Any info on good quality lift kits? Thanks in advance.

Welcome from NC, I went to Ford.com and was able to download PDF's of all the manuals for my 2003. They may not go back far enough for your but these engines and trannies have been around for a long time! See what the closest they have. Also search ebay they also had printed manuals for my 2003. Good Luck! And Happy Thanksgiving!
