Default Anthony 88 ford ranger 2.9

Ok so I have 2 88 rangers that I am trying to make a good one out of them. My first one had the 2.9 v6 with auto trans which was starting to go bad but is still able to drive locally , so since i checked around and was told it would be around a grand to fix the trans i bought another 88 ranger which has an extended cab but with a manual trans for 200 bucks that also runs , but the problem is the fuel pumps do not get power unless i run a direct line to the high volume pump under the fender but the pump screams which my other truck does not do , trying to figure out why the pump isnt getting power , checked the inertia switch and relays they get power, need help anyone have any ideas greatly appreciated

Welcome to FRF, Anthony!!

...and, yes. you'll probably get more response to your technical questions in the technical questions area. a lot of the "techie" types may not read the "Introduce Yourself" section...
