Hi all, I don't do very well at talking about myself so we'll see how this goes haha.

For starters my name is Derek, I am 22, and I live in Spearfish South Dakota. I'm currently employed by American Colloid Company where I am a Scraper Operator, or "buggy" as we call it in the field.

Since I have to commute 20 miles a day and the winters here can be brutal, we average between 70-80 inches of snow per season, I decided that my previous car which was a 2003 Ford Mustang would be insufficient for winter commuting. So I picked up a 2003 Ranger XLT 4WD 4.0L to use as my dd and so far I love it.

As far as plans for modding the Ranger I think I'll stick with the basics (CAI, Exhaust, UDPs, etc) for right now since it is my work truck.

and most importanly great choice of truck. i to have a mustang its an 03 gt thats far from stock. but believe me the ranger will do everything you ask it to!

Welcome to FRF. I used to live up in Montana, put a block heater in if it doesn't have one already, and a pan heater too on the tranny. My truck served me two years of that brutal cold no issues. Again, welcome to FRF
