I have a 2003 Edge with a 3.0L engine. I started having problems with the idle a couple weeks ago. I put new plugs and plug wires in it but it didn't help. I also found a vacuum leak in a tube that comes out of the rear of the manifold. I replaced that and my idle problems got even worse. Now every time I let off the gas the RPMs drop below 500 and it stalls. When I first start my truck it idles fine for a few minutes then I hear a clicking noise and the idle starts surging and dropping off and eventually stalls. It seems like it clicks just before the idle drops off. Any ideas?
