Broken axle
I'm new to this and I feel out of place looking at all these nice rangers. I have a 1988 4x4 that I only use for plowing up here in Maine. I hope I'll be able to get help when I run into problems with this thing. I've had this for about 6 years and had my first problem last week. I broke my left front axle shaft and when I was looking for one I found out they had 2 sizes after I got the wrong one first only one salvage yard new about this. Ford only list one.
Hope this helps anyone who runs into this problem.

is it a twin traction beam front end? if so, i believe it's the driver's side that is shorter than the passenger side? and it's a dana 28 set up on these guys yeah?

88 ttb could either have the dana 28, dana 35 with 28 innards, or a dana 35
