Where in SoCal?

I know I have seen the bars you can clamp in to the bed and mount a fork mount on the bar. Is that what you are looking for?

Ive liked the insta-gater. Ive recommended it to customers in the past. I do have to say though I like the bed rider. That one seems good and you can fit 1-4 bikes on it. I'll have to see the cash flow for the next couple weeks. I do wanna get new tires (a little meatier) for the truck as well as order a KN filter. The bike rack can wait,
I mean I can always lay them in the bed.

Oh nice, just over the hill. What kind of MTB? DH or XC? Hummingbird was my back yard growing up...just wish I had taken advantage of it more...

Hummingbird is amazing!!! I ride a 2009 Santa Cruz Heckler so like FR/XC/ some AM. Mostly XC and free riding. We should go sometime bro.

Much beefier bike than mine. I have an 07 Specialized XC comp, about 4" front and rear. Doing a 10-12 miler out in Conejo valley tomorrow AM. Going from Lang Ranch Pkwy up Albertson Fire Road - China Flats - Dead Cow - Lower Suicide - Urban MTB - Hidden Meadows - Oakbrook which brings us back onto Lang Ranch Pkwy. A lot of climbing at the beginning.
