Default Getting my first Ranger Input needed

I am looking at a XLT 4X2 Supercab with automatic transmission for 21436 and a loan for %2.49 for 60 months.

Would it be possible to get a better price on the truck?

Also does the XLT come with a full sized spare? If no will I be able to fit a full sized spare underneath the truck?

Also I cannot go actually see the truck Im looking at since Im overseas does anyone have any thought on how Vista Blue looks?

id get 4x4, but thats just my opinion. It should come with a full size spare (mine did)

and vista blue looks good see:

as for price, if its brand new, im not sure, i dont ever buy brand new. you can get a fully loaded low mileage 4x4 for less than that. I just think you get ripped a new one when you buy new

I recently bought a brand new 2011 Ranger Supercab 4X2 automatic and I got it for 19K. Only reason why I got it that cheap was because I got the X Price on it (originally it was 24K).

It's the bottom line price that a dealer will go. I know people that work at Ford and they told me to say it and it turned out to save me 5K =)

Still shopping for better prices. I know nothing about trucks especially what to look for in a used one. I feel much better about getting a new truck.

Yeh it took me about 4 months to find that low of a price. Takes time unfortunately.

Don't know on the price, and I bought an 08' XLT in 08' brand new with 9 miles and didn't get a full spare. I was told that new Rangers only come with a baby spare (which I do not like at all).

Odd. My '09 FX4 (bought new) came with a full spare.

EDIT: Not so odd - it was standard for the FX4 trim line, just like it is now on the Sport, but not the XLT.

I'm no expert, but for that trim line with automatic transmission (and not knowing the options), that looks like an OK price before incentives. Some locales are giving up to $4000 cash back right now, or special financing instead - I've heard of 1.9% for 60 months. Click =>here<= and plug in the dealer's zip code to find out what kind of incentives should be available in their area, and click the 'Show details' link to find out how to qualify and how they can be combined.

Edmunds.com lists the full-size spare as a ~$100 option for the 4x2 XLT. Since it's available as an option, that would imply that there is space for one at least as large as the stock tire.

No opinion on the color - haven't seen it in person, and it looks like a pretty standard blue online.
