Ranger-ed, un-Ranger-ed, Ranger-ed again in Western PA
Hey, all
Not totally new to Rangers, had a '93 teal XL, Pinto 2.3, 5-speed manual. Beautiful truck, had to sell when ex-wife lost her job.
Just bought another XL, this time an '03 with "modern" four-banger, slushbox, air, radio, and that's about it. Plainjane white, but the wishbone front end makes quite the diff. Lots to learn about this puppy. Needs a bit of work, too, so I'll get to learn hands on.
I logged thousands of miles on S-10s, checked out a buddy's Dakota. Ranger is top dog among the small pickups.

Donora, about 30 miles south of Pittsburgh.
My truck isn't much compared to some of the beautiful rides I've seen here, and I'm not looking to make a performance vehicle out of it.
Still, this forum has already provided a ton of useful info.
Thanks to all.

Howdy & welcome. You've definitely peaked my interest. Tell me more about the Pinto. I had a '78 Runabout, same motor and transmission you had.
