Thanks guys again... and another question... Should I have to worry about the transmission going out at 130,000 miles on an Automatic?

Another perspective: You don't know how the 4*4 was treated. Personally, I like the lower mileage 1st one better -- esp. if you don't plan to off-road etc.

The 4.0s are better motors from what I heard. My uncle had a 2000 with a 3.0, the trans went around 145,000. My truck now has a 3.0 and it's having transmission problems, it's at 206,000. But as fifthranger said, you never know how a 4x4 was treated. Up here in Ohio, we're rough on our 4x4s. Your best bet is to test drive them both and unless you're a gearhead, take someone with you who knows vehicles. Shop around, you'll find yourself a good deal if your patient.

Sorry guys, I didn't read Tom's post before I posted my own. All other questions I have will be posted under General Discussion... More about me. I'm only 16, I don't have the truck yet that is why I am here learning about the Ranger and what I should get so I don't make the wrong decision. Once I buy it I will have a signature about my truck and all that good stuff!! Thanks
