my name's Pete, i'm a lurker on some other sites R-F, TRS, RPS, i'm pretty active on virtualford.org and fordtruckworld.com though
here's a picture of my truck about a year and a half ago, best its ever looked  and as it sits now   last summer the 3.0 it came with seized up, so i pulled it and bought a 97 explorer for parts, takin the whole drivetrain from it and putting it in the ranger, with some modifications of course, here's the engine mocked up, hope to be back on the road soon

thanks for the warm welcome all, and thanks to rangerjustin for telling me about the site, soon i'll make a thread about my build so i can keep everyone updated on the progress
and i forgot to post earlier, its a 98 4x4, originally 3.0 auto, 113k, sits on 31s, some small suspension modifications, bunch of stupid bolts and stuff, when i'm done it will be a 5.0 auto, whole motor will be new besides the block itself, trans has been rebuilt, i have a 1354M waiting to go in, although i'd like to find a 4406, also have an explorer 8.8 waiting for install
