i started a thread over in suspension. im replacing all 4 leaf spring hangers, had to cut the mounting bolts and was hoping someone new the part number or specs on those bolts, i need 4, also replacing the bushings. and im completely puzzled on the front driver side hanger since the brake cable bracket is a part of it. wonderin if this is an easy fab to do since auto zone said it has to be done that way and id like to avoid dropping the tank but grinding thise rivets=sparks and i dont wanna blow up.... i really need to find those mounting bolts!!!!

well of the 4 bushings i orderd from auto zone only two i can use on the fronts since the inside diameter on those is 1.5 in and the backs are 1.25 in, after calling around everywhere i got the right bushings for the back bein over-nighted so i can mount up the pass side front & back hangers with new bushings & hardware, aswell as new shocks, then its on to the drivers side to do the same repairs plus weld up a broken leaf. what started out to be just new shocks and 2 shackles has turned into a whole rear suspension overhaul. ill be glad when shes finished and back on the road rollin with the new bfg's i got for her

well he drove it almost 40k broke and never new it. This truck will never haul anything or be driven long distances, and if you could see where the break is and the truck itself you'd have a better understanding why im not gonna shell out anymore money on this truck when i know if welded right it will work just fine.

I think I might need larger bushings than the set that came with the brackets I ordred, where did you get them? Also , can I ask if you have any tips, we need to get the old bushings out and have 3 of the hangers off already, just about to do the one by gas tank. How did you get that one off?

Thanks, Tony
