Say what?....148mph is around a 9sec ET. Ford 4.0 plus EE SC does not equal that kind of power in any universe

Well That was what I was told. I have since taken it to the track and U R right. Now, The truck is not totally finished. It sits in The Mustang Shop in Auburn WA waiting for 3.71 gears, split SS drive shaft,
and removing muffler. I will let you know what happens. These guys promote their product, (EXPLOYER EXPRESS), i JUST RECORDED WHAT i WAS TOLD.
Thanks for your reply

Good to hear the build is still going, have you liked the service at the mustang shop? My dad needs some parts installed on his car. are they dyno tuning your ranger as well? It would be nice to find some tunes locally.

I'm in Renton BTW glad to see another ranger close by!

Well let me tell U. They put my truck on the Dyno after the SC was installed gave me a print out showing 368 HP to the wheels and 361 FP of Tq. What I wished had happened is a before Dyno and after Dyno.
Mathewson's in Renton was somewhat suspicious of the numbers. So far though TMS has been great. All very nice guys. I have on order new 3.71 gears and the SS drive shaft they put in Mustangs + guages.

What kind of dyno and how much boost? I'd think a ranger would need to be putting out over 12lbs of boost to hit that HP number. And this is on a stock 4.0 right?

That number of 368HP is very large for a 4.0...268RWHP would still be on the high side but more realistic

oh and since this in introductions... welcome BTW

Yes this was a stock 4.0. It now has no mufflers, headers, total redo of the under carriage, Bielstien shocks, F & R sway bars + other stuff I am not even familar with. I just drive the truck and love it. I could not begin to tell you all that is into it. I will tell U that so far $10K and counting.

----------

I do plan on taking it to the CARB. CONNECTION IN Kirkland WA and have it re-tested. TMS switched out the fuel injectors that came with the SC from 23 to 39. Mathewson's stated it was to high and that I did not have a big enough fuel pump to handle those.
All greek to me, but am taking their advice and having it re-tested.

This is what TMS gave me besides a bill for $1200.
1. Install injectors. Factory injectors were short style, had to fab brackets and move things around to make fit wit6h bigger injectors, (no small style replacements available). Relocated intake air sensor.
2. Complete custom tune. $400.
3. (6) 39lb Cobra fuel injectors.
4. WPT84 pigtail.
5. 94-11 Engine Coolant Temp Sensor Connector.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Dyno Sheet.
1. Channel / run 1-2-3 Max: 1-2-3 AVG: 1-2-3
Eng Torque t WC (ft-lb) Min: 89 Max 281 Avg: 262
End Power T WC (HP) Min: 113 Max 349 Avg 319
Maf Volts (Volts) Min -4.8 Max -4.4 Avg -4.6
+20% HP
+30% TQ
That is the story.
