Default Hello from upstate NY

Well, I have been lurking for a while, I suppose it is about time I signed up and said hi.

After about 14 years of driving cars, I decided it was time to get something with some towing capabilities. Mainly because I plan on doing some track days with my motorcycle. So I made a list of towing capable vehicles with what I was willing to pay and off to the dealers I went. Well, I only made it as far as a second dealer before I made my choice. The dealer was giving me $2000 for a $500 car (KBB value). Plus the additional incentives made it hard to refuse.

I have had this truck for almost 2 months now and I LOVE it! Well, I suppose my only gripe is that I had to settle for an automatic transmission. Seems like manual transmissions are non exsitant when buying new.

Welcome to FRF, Zach! ...what part of Upstate NY are you in? I moved to Florida from that area in 1995.

Just outside of Albany. Funny thing is, I lived in Florida for a while, about 20 minutes south of Daytona. Certainly missing the Florida weather right now.

Cool... I worked just outside of Albany for a number of years (Ballston Lake), but lived about an hour north of there (outside Lake George).
