Newbie with 89 Ranger
Hi. This is my first post here. I recently got a hold of an '89 6 cyl., 5 speed Ranger, and since it has a few problems, I'll be asking lots of questions. I'm looking forward to reading your posts.

My daily driver is an '02 Beetle Turbo S, so I have metric tools. All you really need for a Volkswagen is 10 and 13mm sockets and a Phillips. I always forget how cumbersome American vehicles can be to work on. After fixing the parking brake, the leak in the heater core, and whatever makes that rattling noise above the transmission, I'll need some decent H4's to see where I'm going.
