Thanks. Any other members with a early model year Ranger?
This is my first truck in the 15+ years I've been driving. Love it. It needed(still needs) a lot of work.
I'm not a mechanic but I like to tinker with things to see how they work. Every time I work on it, It surprises me how much it helps performance and gas mileage. Around 8MPG in August, when I first got it. Now averages about 14-15MPG. A couple weeks ago it hit just above 18MPG but I think that may have been a fluke. LOL
I haven't done any mods yet but the Duraspark conversion has me interested. It is a pain to get the stock carb/ignition tuned.
