Welcome to the forum, from the Travelin' PNW Crewman. I'm seeing a girl down in Charleston, she's a loadmaster on the C17's lol

I've got a 94 Cherokee 2 dr. Love the thing, but it's out in Montana. You can fly up and get it with me lol

I've got a 97, I have the 4.0. Don't touch the 3.0 you will be disappointed. Trust me. The 4.0 has issues with head gaskets and heads, but drive her respectable and keep up on maintenance she'll run you a long time. I'm at 857xx with mine, and she hasn't hiccuped once. I've put the last 557xx miles on her in about 2.5 years. I also towed a double axle trailer cross country from Washington to Tennessee with her, and other then the two damned largest mountain ranges in the continental US, that obviously slowed me down, she pulled just fine!

I work on the 17s at Charleston and may have seen her around, although maintainers and flight crews don't tend to be on a name basis relationship. Id love her job on a 17!

So what's PNW stand for?

My Cherokee was just a baby with 190k miles compared to some guys pushing 1/2 million on the jeep forum lol

According to a buddy of mine who works on heads he says the 4.0 heads have a tendency to crack on the ford ranger. Only reason I listened to him and beleived he knows what he's talking about is the 42 years of experience he has on working on heads.

Look for a girl named Alissa, she's about 6 ft tall you can't miss her lol She's been in the office a lot lately.

PNW = Pacific Northwest, I'm working in Tennessee, but Washington state is home
