I bought my ranger in the summer of 10' replacing the last of the cavaliers that I will ever own. The same day I got my ranger I bought my wife a new escape, replacing her last small car as well. I am always looking for new ideas and was to improve upon my truck. Right now i am rocking an 04 ranger XLT stepside. I did my homework on this one. I went with the 4.0L 4:10 LS diff. Extended Cab without the two smaller back doors. Vinyl interior instead of carpet, 60/40 black and gray seats.

When i bought the truck it was the bare minimums, no power anything, no cruise. so about a week after having it, i ordered the cruise control kit from ford so i would have the factory cruise built into the steering wheel.

My future plans for it are a black grille guard, 3 inch lift, go from the 16 alloys to a 15 in crager v5 with 33's, and nerf bars. the nerf bars are actually in my garage waiting for their final sanding and primer, then they will be rhino-lined and put on the truck. I had the bed liner sprayed at the dealer before i got it. i need to get a reciever hitch yet then i will fab a mount to hold my canoe to the top of the truck. Finally i want to camoclad up to the body line on the truck.

These guys are great with modifications . You should also search the site for past postings as well . I have a 2010 XLT power group and I love the V6 . One of the best little trucks I ever bought .
