Newbie from over in England
Hi Guys
Registered on your forum today, thought i ought to introduce myself.
Bought my 92 3.0 Ranger three years ago now, these trucks are a bit of a head turner over her as you never see them.
My truck got here via the US Air Force who have a large presence here, and the fact it spent all of it's life on a base the the mileage was fairly low at 85,000 when i bought it.
To date i've carried out the following mods...............2" Levelling Lift to front end, Prothane and Energy Poly Bushings to frame and cab mounts , HD Bilstein Shocks all around, Cold Air Intake, JBA Plug Wires adjustable camber bushings, new stainless exhaust with straight thru box, 16" explorer Alloys, and more to come..........
i've attached a couple of pics for your interest,,,,,,

Re: Newbie from over in England
So, I'm curious. Seeing how you drive on the correct side of the road, and you have such badass trucks ad new Toyota Hilux 3.0D's, how come you picked up a Ranger?

Well first of all, i have a love of american trucks, so much better built than the japanese trucks we get here, plus the fact of being gasoline powered they dont make a lotta money secondhand, gasoline will soon be up to $15.00 a gallon , so you can see why diesel jap vehicles are more common
the new ford ranger is doing well here as it will carry about 2009lbs and tow in the region of 6000lbs with a 3,0 turbo diesel
attached a recent ford ad for your interest

Yes Sir,
Our government has just jacked up the price of everthing they make lots of tax on since christmas, such as gasoline , cigerettes , booze etc
due to the fact there are more people these days on welfare than there is working and i guess as time go's on the workers will have to pay more.
i guess you got the same problem in the us

Re: Newbie from over in England
Nice truck and cool ad.
As far as gasoline going up here, it will still take a while to get that high, Plus they ( the petro stock/share holders) would love to see it climb high now before there are really any other means of transport.
but that is my opinion as others will have their own.
