Default New to FRF

Hello Everyone,

I have a 94 Ford Ranger with about 140k+ miles.
I've never had any trouble with it til recently, and now of course I need some help getting it repaired.

I appreciate anyone who can point me in the right direction.

Thanks for the welcomes.
My Ranger is a 94 Super Cab 3.0L manual.

I am having a problem getting my Ranger started. Orginally it was bad gas. That seems to be resolved. I have replaced spark plugs, spark plug cables, distributor, rotor button, and coil; and yet my Ranger still does not want to start.

The gas I treated with more reputable gas, two bottle of Heet, octane treatment and today another bottle of gas treatment. I haven't dropped the tank because I can see how to drop the tank.

Is there a fuel cut off switch that I may need to reset? If so, where would it be?

Not sure about a '94, but my switch is in the passenger side kick panel.

Thanks Jay,
I had looked behind the passenger side kick panel, because that's where my Explorer's is.
I'll check it out again in case it was as obvious as I thought it should be.

Welcome to FRF!

Did you check the fuses and Relays. and the best way is drop the tank if needed would be just to take off the bed. thats the easiest way....i think

Yes. It's you Fuel inertia switch. It's on the passenger side below dash next to the tranny hump. Check to see if it needs to be reset. Or you might have a bad switch. Cheap part to replace. Good luck
