Just Joined
Hey, I'm Douglas from Houston, TX. I'm in my 30s and recently bought my little brother's old ranger. It's a 2001 Edge 2wd ext. cab with the 4.0L SOHC V6 and has about 104,000 miles on it. I just completely did the front brakes, including new rotors and wheel bearings, I noticed the ball joints needed to be replaced while doing that, but that will have to wait. Yesterday I replaced the EGR valve and tomorrow I get to replace the EGR pressure sensor! It's completely stock and the only plans I have for the future are the K&N FIPK, Magna Flow exhaust and a power programmer. None of these mods are that expensive in and of themselves, but there does seem to be many routine maintenance type issues that have been neglected on this truck, so hopefully I'll have it just the way I want it in a year at the most. Forum seems great, I'm sure I'll be spending some time here.
