I'm an old fart! Just ask my son.
So I'm new here. I am 67 years young. That's my physical age, mentally I'm 19!
I love Fords and work on several. I own a 67 Fairlane that I have installed a 363" Windsor with many go fast parts. I have a 68 Falcon wagon that I am modifying right now. I'll show it to you when it is done! I'm retired and uncle sam (soc. sec.) is my source of income, so don't expect a lot of expensive mods. from me. Anything I do has to be well thought out and capable of being done in my home garage. My wife drives a 95 Mustange convert. I love that car and we have had the most fun with it compared to every car we have ever owned. The Ranger is a 1991 XLT extended cab. 4 cyl. 2.3 Liter single ohc. manual 5 speed tranny. Mostly stock. I just bought it and first thing it blew the tranny. So it is up on blocks to get it changed. I have to get it smoged and It has several issues there as well. The body looks good from a distance (20 miles! LOL!) Though it is a bit rough. I plan on getting a new tailgate as it has been hammered and the chrome signature pannel is gone. It is to be my parts chaser so I'll be doing all my hotrodding with the Fairlane and the Falcon. That's all for now. Ask any questions you want, I'll try to get you answers asap.

Gee I thought I was the old fart here, pushing 60, and just bought my first Ranger a month ago. When I was young I did most the work on my cars, but with age, available time and a making more money, plus the complications with newer stuff, I quit in the 80s and let the pros do it. Now pushing retirement and currently unemployed I am starting to do more with our vehicles.
I stopped buying new vehicles in the 90s, and started buying used, and now buy salvage, I have saved so much money buying 5 different salvage, 3 Hyundai and 2 Fords ( F150, now my new Ranger), all of our vehicles are now salvage. So from one old fart to another welcome aboard, these young guys have motivated me to get back to playing with my own vehicles, and they are a great group here at FRF.

Thank you Gentlemen! I feel right at home! I promise I'll have my 'new toy' running asap. I just have to get the old tranny out and the new in.....lol!
Really, I have it just about all unbolted, one last bolt remains and it is soaking in WD40 as we speak. It will be out soon. As soon as I finish with this post I am going back to the garage.
