Default 95 ranger beater new truck guy lots of work!

Just Scrapped my old Escort winter beater, because I was in need of a truck to use for Work/winter.

Bought a 95 Ranger 3.0 super cab 5-speed on Kijiji for 599 dollars

sounds like a good deal right ?

well it had rust. lol

and high mileage. but I know these 3.0's will go big numbers and I thought the truck was fixable so I bought it. (after all it came with a brand new alternator)

So far the work Ive gone includes :

Replaced the Cam Syncronizer and sensor (lucky i caught that thanks to online forums and my CEL)

oil change
coolant flush & t-stat
tranny fluid
differential gear oil
spark plugs
air filter
battery terminals
wiper blades
rear shocks
fuel filter
headlight bulb
Installed Mustang 10.5 inch rear disc brakes (another plug for the forum)

Replaced rusted tailgate and LF fender with junk yard specials

added ford bug deflector to hood

also knocked all frame scale off and painted the whole frame with POR 15. awesome stuff. dont let it drip in your hair

removed Box and replaced 2 rusty support beams with steel square tubing

2 new tires on the back

wow, i cant believe ive done all that... i have some pictures but not uploaded yet.

I still need to get the truck saftied and e-tested. hope to tie up loose ends and get it done this week

-Joe
