Default New To the Forum

Hi everyone, i have a 2000 Ranger that i am in the process of putting a carbed 302 in. The engine is getting built and should be ready to drop in soon. I have a Borg Warner T5 to go with it and i the shop said about 320 rear wheel horse when it is done so i am pretty excited. The body has 150,000 miles on it and no rust. I have alot of big plans for this truck and i look forward to being a part of the ford ranger forum family.

No not really. Sanded down the rims with about 100 grit, then wire wheel for the rest, then primer, paint, clear just like you are painting anything else. I didn't even bother to tape off the tire i just put blue grease around the whole tire and when i was done, it wiped right off. I know it won't last and i plan to get them powder coated because i like the style of rim, but the paint has held up for the few months its been on there
