Exclamation Eager Beaver

Hi all,

Firstly, thanks to all who go to putting together this great Forum. Wow!

I just bought a 2000 4x4 2.5d ranger in Mauritius. It's in good nick but needs some love and care to make it nice 'n new.

Who can help me with the basics for carrying out a general servicing? I need to know what's involved, steps and precautions. Any helpo greatly appreciated.

Also, I want to eventually make some mods and add ons, mostly cosmetic, and brand it with my company colours and logo so if you got any great examples of classy mods, please let me know where I can see some pics!

Thx and looking forward to getting to know you all and maybe contributing to some other newbie one day too!" Jerome.

Welcome to FRF! We have a few people with Diesel Rangers here. Mainly though there are US Rangers.

Thanks and hi to all. You won't believe it but I am trying to confirm but think it is NOT a turbo. The book says SOHC-12V in-line 4-cyl. I am not experienced at mechanics but really want to learn how to look after this car - I love it! It has a certain something. If anyone can help with basic servicing skills that would be a GREAT start. Thx

Talking Confirmation!

Firstly, thankyou to all for your welcome messages.

Having been in contact with NASA engineers I can confirm it is a 2.5tdi 4x4, first registered in Oct 2000 so probably is a 2000 model.
