Default starting new project

hey how’s it goin everyone, I have a 1989 ford ranger that ive had for a year now, the truck is pretty much mint other then the homemade box which looks a little too hillbilly for me (got the truck like that). Now ive got a few questions since this is my first project. My plan for the truck is to swap the engine, tranny and rear end, and I plan on moving the gas tank to the back too.. My questions are, what are the biggest tires i could put on the back without tubbing the truck? and if i do end up tubbing the truck, what would be the best way to do it? I thought this would be the best place to ask. Looking forward to hear from fellow ranger owners.
Thanks

Welcome, you'll find a lot of great info here! Sorry I can't answer your specific question, though you might try asking in the tech forums.
