Hello guys . ranger fanboy here WITH IMPORTANT QUESTION
hello to all!!!!! im glad to be apart of the for ranger forum now. that is all ive owned since ive started driving. i do have a really important question pertaining to my ranger though
I currently drive a 2002 ranger 4x4 extended cab
I wrecked the truck a while back, went through a ditch , up a small hill and through the ditch again back on to the road. this was due to a tire blowing out. well i took the truck to my mechanic, and ended up having all 4 leaf spring mounts replaced, upper and lower balljoints and control arms as well as the stabilizer bar and tie-rod end on the passenger side replaced, had the front end alligned. so now the truck drives super straight, with the exception of the passenger wheel bearing being about destroyed in it. got that part ready to go in though. Heres my question
i had the allignment done and like i said the truck feels to me like its driving strait even when i let go of the wheel, but ive had a couple friends behind me say that when im driving that my truck looks like its drives crooked. could this actually be the frame bent? my mechanic looked at it, as well as 2 allignment centers and not any of the 3 saw anything to support that the frame was bent. so what else could it be?
1. the frame is actually bent?
2. maybe the cab or bed mounts ( rubber i assume ) were damaged?
3. leaf springs wore out or damaged? truck has practically 100k on it. 99,702 to be exact
4. other
thank you for taking the time to look at this and thank you for helping me , i look forward to helping who i can help on these forums.
