Never owned a Ranger before
Just bought a used Ranger. I need an owners manual for it so I can find out what all it has or needs in the way of fluid capacity, etc . I don't really know what engine I have. I suspect a 2.5 L . I don't know if Ford made any other 4 cylinder engines for the Ranger or not. So far the little truck seems very tight but I am a little disappointed in the power of the engine. Maybe I am expecting too much. The last truck I had was an F250 with a 7.3 L Power stroke.
I am 53 years old and I teach science at a small rural high school in Arkansas. I had a Ford Courier when I was in college and I loved it. Wish I had it back. When I saw this little clean little ranger I had to relive some of those days. I am enjoying it so far. It has 150000 miles on it but it has been well taken care of. Anything I need to especially pay attention to at this level of mileage? I think the oil sending unit is malfunctioning.

Going from a 7.3 workhorse to a 4 banger would understandably leave a lot to be desired. Welcome to the forum! Clinton is leading you on the right path
