New from Central PA
Hey, just wanted to stop in and introduce myself. Just today picked up a 2003 XLT with the FX4 Level I package, 4.0l engine, auto, stepside bed and tonneau cover. Only 48,000 miles on the clock. It's the truck I've wanted for a really long time. I hope to squeeze a good 10 years or more of use as a daily driver (2-3 mile daily commute), all-around utility and hauling vehicle, and for some mild off-road fun.
First two mods will be a new stereo to accommodate my iPod and satellite radio (should have that done next week), and a Reese hitch receiver (on order). Also contemplating the rear disc brake mod, since I own a 1998 Mustang GT and am familiar with Mustangs in general. So naturally I want a place to ask questions and learn more about the truck, and found this great site. Thanks for having me!

Interestingly, when I ran a CARFAX before I bought the truck, I found out that the original owner was from the Twin Cities area. It's cool to think the original owner might have been a worker at the plant, although of course I have no way to verify this. Would make for a nice story!
