Well I did a google search about transmission problems and found this site. I actually own a 2000 Mazda B3000 and not an official Ranger. Had a Ford salesman tell me one time that the Mazda's come out the back door of the KC plant and the Rangers the front door. I have 130,000 miles on my truck so far and it still runs good with the exception of problems getting the transmission into gear. Truck is mostly stock except for a K&N air intake kit and a Magnaflow catback exhaust that I installed myself. I do my own maintenance. I even replaced the ball joints and outer tie rod ends although that took me 8 hours.
I spend alot of my free time kayak fishing so I have a yakima rack on the cab and another rack on the bed rails.
