Hi Guys and gals,

My Ranger is a 1989 stock with no bells or whistles.
Bought this truck new for $7200 and got it before I met my wife so it
has seniority.
She hasn't been inspected since 2007, the truck, not my wife.
Reregistered the vehicle but was told I couldn't get it inspected because of excess bed body rot. I wasn't about to part with it so I got going on a refurbishment.
The engine has only 40,000 on a rebuild.
New components include: clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing and slave,
clutch hose, shocks,leaf springs, brake components and lines.
I needle blasted the undercarriage and used Rustoleum rust converter and
textured black on the frame.
The biggest motivation for doing so is the sad state of our lousy RI government and their tax policies.We get an excise tax on vehicles here
to pay for who knows what.Anything above $500 value is taxed and I think I just squeezed in under that, FTG!
