 Hi New Member
Hi Fella's, My namee is Tim Register glad to be a part of this forum. I live in Savannah,Georgia I own a 1988 Ford Ranger SXT 2x4 2.9L. I'm the second owner, got it 6 yrs. ago. I had a 1986 Honda Civic that I turned into a rice rocket. My son inlaw wanted it so I told him I would trade him even for it. I got the better of the deal. I have slowly been fixin' it up but I have ran into a problem. I wanted to put a throttle body spacer on it, but I can't find one for the 2.9L engine. Do any of you good fellow's know where I might be able to find one. I've looked all over no luck Help would be very apreciated. Tim  |

Ya I tried ebay , the engine is kinda rare the 2.9 was ment for the european market but the put them in the sxt for us crazy. I'm working on more horse power and better gas milage I put a APC cold air kit on it had to make it out of universal parts and got a k&n filter. I took the cat conv. off and put a X pipe in its place and ran duals out with flowmaster mufflers. You can really feel the differance in horse power, and gave it an xtra 3 miles per gallon. I am going to do some more to help will keep u informeed on how its going. |
