Just started the Forum, and am hoping that you all have something encouraging to tell me about my investment in our old 1993 ranger.

Family original since 1993 and I have just had the Engine Long Blocked.
I have been on the internet all day and have not found out anything about my situation. Yes this is a mechanical problem, but that is for another post. My Father in Law bought this truck new and then gave to my daughter at her sixteeth, she is now 29. Well after she was done driving a light duty truck she gave it to her little brother when he turned 19 and he drove it till it broke. Well I now have a broke truck and am wanting to drive it around. Engine was rebuilt at MJM Engines in Escondido Ca. with a small charge of $2040.88. Machine work : Seasoned engine block (Magna Flux) Bore and Hone, Crank polish, Head surface, 3 angle valve job, valve stem seals. New Parts: Pistons, Rings, Rod Bearings, Main Brgs, Cam brgs, Camshaft, lifters, Gasket set, timing set, oil pump, expansion plugs.

Well there I am and now you know I have a family and a truck!
