Hi, my name is Ben and I am 25 yr old. I am currently working with a pest control company. I am the proud owner of a white 2000 Ford Ranger XLT extended cab V6 3.0 5-speed. I have only had the truck now for two weeks. My reason for buying this Ranger was easy. It's what I wanted.
When I turned 16, my grandfather bought a red 98 Ford Ranger XLT extended can 4 cyl 2.5 5-speed. He said is wasn't for me, but little did he know it would be mine
. So, I have actually had the truck now for about 9 years. It has 217000 miles on it and still works pretty good considering. It has a three inch body lift on 31 inch tires, but recently I gave up my baby. My dad's 98 dodge dakota screwed up so he has been without a vehicle for a while, and when I got my new job using a company vehicle, I practically gave my Ranger up for him to have a ride. So after being without my truck for about 6 months, not being able to come and go as I please( hence company vehicle w/ gps
) , I decided to buy one I came across on Ebay.
So a few weeks ago, I came across the white ranger. Well it just so happen that it was exactly what I was looking for and it only had 97000 miles on it. So after getting a pretty good price for it, I drove down and got it. The pictures I saw online did not truly represent the truck, but I was mostly satisfied. So, now I am the proud owner of a white 2000 Ford Ranger XLT extended cab V6 3.0 5-speed. I hope it treats me as well as my first one did.
Now I am going to go through the phase of modification. I do not know what those mods will be yet, but I doubt it will include lifting and bigger tires because right now I'm getting 20mpg and would like to keep it that way. So, I am looking forward to asking all you of questions and getting know you better. And hopefully before too long I'll get some pictures of my truck online. I may be able to get the ones from the Ebay ad. I'll look into it. Well, hope to speak with you soon.
