Default Noob from Las Vegas

Hello, I'm newly retired and bought a 2006 plain Jane Ranger. Single cab, 5 speed, 3L V6. My intention is to pull this truck behind my 27ft Class C motorhome. Today I finished building my loading ramp and installing the motorcycle chock to hold my Harley Road King. The bike will be carried standing up straight and tied down with rachet straps. Well, I loaded it today and I think maybe it's too much weight. The rear springs were almost flat. The bike weighs about 800 lbs. Can I add an additional leaf to the spring set to help level the truck?

Welcome to the forum, might want to consider an add-a-leaf or post your question in the suspension tech forum where you will get more experienced help.

you can use an add a leaf, or get some air shocks that you can add pressure to when your hauling things

Yeah the bike is about half of the max load for the rearend. There is a company that makes a "ride leveling" system that mounts between the rear bracket of the leaf springs to maintain the ride quality..
