Default New Guy
Hello everyone,

I am new to the fourm. I just got a 1984 Ranger for $100. It has the 2.0L engine and has the 4 speed Toyo transmission. it runs but needs an overhaul or new engine because of a bad knock.

I am trying to decide on what engine to either rebuild or what engine I can install inplace of the 2.0.

This is going to become a sort of toy for me and at some point I will probley install either a 302 or 289. But that is still a ways off.
