What was old is new again
Obviously, I'm new to the forum, but not to Rangers. I had a 2002 Ranger FX4 that I bought in '04. I really liked it, but I traded it in for an F-150. A number of vehicles (and years later), my dad has passed away and left me his 1999 Ranger Sport, 4x2. (I forgot to mention that it's an extended cab.)
I need to fix a leak in the exhaust manifold. I was thinking of pulling an exhaust header off a truck in the U-pull it salvage yard, or replacing it with a new one. I would also like to put a hitch on it and tow a small trailer for a snowmobile, snow thrower, garden tractor, etc. Does anyone have any suggestions for fixing the exhaust header or hitches that work best with the Ranger trucks? Welcome to FRF! what size engine is in your ranger? you could get some headers for it mabye or just get some off of a ranger in the junkyard and ive seen people on here with a type of hitch that goes under the bumper and lets it tow a good amount of weight
