Default new ranger owner here!

what's up everyone from San Diego! 30 years old, for work I'm an air balancer in the sheet metal union. like to do woodworking and cooking as hobbies. I enjoy working on cars but I'm still pretty new to it all.
I bought my ranger just a few days ago and trying to learn as much as I can about it and figure out what mods I want to do down the road.

about the truck: 2002 XL 2.3L regular cab automatic (stock). bought it from a friends dad for a killer deal because he was moving. body is in near perfect condition but plan on replacing the headlights for some blacked out/amber lights, need to refurbish the weathered plastic trim. has a aftermarket stereo but needs new speaker in the doors. planning on getting a camper shell for work equipment. and of course some new rims and bigger tires with a minor lift (I'm short haha).

Welcome from Denver. What does an 'sir balancer' do? I've never heard of that as a job before!

I work with HVAC systems and balance the systems for proper airflow and make sure the units are running efficiently. think of it as opening and closing the vents in your truck to get more/less air.

I had heard of a 'balancer' in a mechanical sense, just like that. Didn't know it applied to people too! Welcome
