Hey all just picked up my 2WD 2003 Ranger Edge last week. I got it as a trade-in by a older couple up in SC. Came with a Swiss Topper and a bed extender. Only 91,100 miles on her. I'm calling her Loretta, like in the Google commercial. She's that Ford White with a darker gray/black interior. Looking forward to talking with ya'll and getting good info to use on her.

Good Afternoon, newest member here. I'm having trouble trying to place my first post. Not easy...please redirect me to where I should go? OK, 1st question. I am 63, live in Collingwood, Ontario, Canada. I am a life long Ford fan. I just purchased a 2001 Ford Ranger XLT...in it's Lime green Glory, love this truck. Here is the question. On the heater line on the left side has a n adjustable plastic valve on it. I think it regulates the heat to the cab. In the middle of the hose this valve has a piece sticking up that looks like it need a vacuum hose over the "male" end. OK, It moves in and out freely. But that piece that looks like it needs a vacuum hose is fine, but I don't know where the other end of the hose goes? Any idea? I do not have the hose yet, just need to know where it goes in the engine? Thank you very much. Don
