Greetings. Thanks for this resource. I have my 2nd Ranger. I'm a fan because it's a good size for chores and getting up into the woods. The current is a '99 4WD with a blown 3.0. I'm seeking advice on the best solution for a replacement. I'd like a bit more torque for climbing the highway hills. The 3.0 was a bit too slow and couldn't pull 65mph up the grades. I need to decide - Used 3.0, re built short block or upsize to 4.0?
