Default Greetings from the Great White North

How do y’all, cardinal direction here from the great White North. Growing up I always wanted a Ford ranger and just this last month I finally got my hands on one. It’s a 1998 Ford Ranger with a 3.0 L 4 x 4 with 156,000 miles. After having been sorely neglected for the last 20 years by the original owner I have been doing routine maintenance catching up, I’m looking forward to joining the community.

Just an FYI this forum has died down quite a bit. If you know how to search you will definitely find some good info that is already here on the forum without getting frustrated waiting for someone to finally answer your technical questions.

Thanks boss, will certainly use the resources available. Is there a more active forum you also recommend joining?

Not particularly my Ranger has been on jack stands for a couple of years now LOL I'm just here tonight screwing around and saying hi. I do know a little bit about Rangers but I'm not here often because it has died down so much I don't think about it. But there is a lot to find on your own if you just spend a few minutes looking.

Sounds good, one thing I haven’t been able to figure out is how to service the needle bearings in the front hubs. The maintenance schedule says to do it but I haven’t really been able to find anything
