Default New To The Forum

Hey Everyone!

I am new to the forum. I have gathered plenty of good info over the last year as my truck starts to have issues so I figured I would actually join instead of mooch from google.

I have a 2011 Ranger Sport 2wd 4.0L. It is currently at 108,000 miles.

Right now it is leaking trans fluid from the output shaft seal. I plan to fix tomorrow.

It is also leaking from somewhere above the trans pan. The leak is not as bad, but looks like it may be coming from a bolt/plug type thing. I am not sure what it is called but the only thing I can think of is it might possibly be related to when Ford did a trans fluid service on it at around 65,000 miles.

There is also a clunk when giving some gas starting from a stoplight or sign. What do you guys think? Ujoints? Or does the yoke that goes into the back of the trans need to get replaced as these trucks get older?

Any advice is welcome.
